Today our host Sebastian Sjöberg does not speak with a young Hyperloop Maker.
He is however talking, at length and in great detail, with a true veteran of the high speed tube transportation industry.
Daryl Oster is the founder and CEO of ET3, Evacuated Tube Transportation Technologies. He filed his first patent relating to this vision back in the 80s, and was first smitten by the idea as a boy. His company has worked for a long time within the greater space that only recently has been popularised by Elon Musk and the Hyperloop.
ET3 does however stand on its firm two legs, both in terms of accumulated engineering prowess as well as via their business model. They mean to disrupt and displace 90% of the $10 trillion (yes, trillion) industry that is the current global transportation of people and goods. In this extensive interview, Daryl Oster tells how and why.
If you’re a budding engineer that seeks to launch your career within the emerging world of next generation transport, ET3 offers concrete opportunity.
If you’re a startup entrepreneur, ET3 does likewise via their consortium licensing model.
If you’re an investor that cannot help but feel that the Hyperloop, or something like it, could be the moonshot that does that 10X thing to your investment – you should listen to this.
